School Refusal has increasingly grown as an area of concern in schools and impacts significantly on a student’s mental health, academic and social skills. School Refusal is often complex and driven by a different combination of factors for each student. 

 

Early interventions and targeted supports are crucial in promoting school attendance. Working in partnership with students and their families as well as other professionals will give students the best chance of experiencing success in their schooling and to reach their potential.
